When MSC Cruises sought a "godmother" who would define the character, glamour, warmth and spirit of their newest ship, the 140,000 ton, 4, 363 passenger MSC Divina, they chose the internationally famous consummate Italian beauty, the magnificent Sophia Loren!
MSC Divina enters service in May 2012 and is the third in the cruise line's series of Fantasia Class vessels which includes MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida. Designed by de Jorio, himself an Italian, the Divina displays MSC's classic high end interior and every other hallmark of elegance, comfort and luxury elevated to an art form. She features a number of enhancements including, for example, an infinity pool and beach zone in the aft of the ship. Called the Garden Pool, it will be designed and decorated as a deluxe area for quiet retreat.
Whether you take part in art auctions featuring fine prints, lithographs, water colours and oils, tackle a Formula 1 simulator, take in a circus, watch an ice show, strike out to the bowling alley, or find yourself transported by an evening of operatic arias, MSC Divina will entertain you handsomely throughout your journey.
