| Day 8 | Odessa,Ukraine | 7:00 AM | 12:30 PM |

The city enjoys a perfect balance between past and future highlighted by the historic old town and the major shopping and nightlife district of Borgo Muattiano. The Basilica of San Nicola honours Saint Nicholas of Bari (Santa Claus!).
Few destinations rival the cultural wealth and intriguing sightseeing of Athens. The great Parthenon lords over the city. In the exciting restaurants and clubs in Plaka District, society is out in full, with visitors and Athenians gathered together to drink, dine and dance within an atmosphere of camaraderie.
Yalta is a dramatically handsome resort town on the Crimea peninsula in Ukraine. It offers a mild climate, lush landscape, pebble beaches, botanical gardens and a wonderful promenade filled with people strolling past the works of artists, singers and performers delighting the crowds. Stalls sell souvenirs and clothing and beadwork to handmade jewellery. Flush with restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs and a waterfront over a mile long, it is a hugely popular tourist spot. Chekov fans can visit his small house and a near by museum.
With its balmy climate, seaside vistas, sandy beaches and lively street life, Odessa has an ambience more Mediterranean than Slavic. Known as the "Pearl of the Black Sea" it is among the largest cities in Ukraine (and once the 3rd leading city in old Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg). Over 100 nationalities reside here. Green rolling hills, shady lanes, marvellous architecture reminiscent of the Right Bank in Paris, lovely, cozy squares and nicely lit terraces provide a delightful air of intimacy. Odessa's warm bays and sunlit beaches attract crowds the year `round. It is a city both charming... and unique.
A jumble of cultures. Istanbul's skyline is filled with the spires and domes of mosques and medieval palaces. A king's ransom of Ottoman treasures are displayed at the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace (formerly home to the Ottoman sultans and their harems).
Katakolon is gateway to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Once home to art, monuments, altars, theatres, statues and temples (the most famous the Temple of Zeus) here, each Olympic year, the still sacred flame is set alight.
Dubrovnik boasts one of the largest and best preserved fortification systems in Europe. The construction of these medieval walls, which surround the city, stretched from the 11th to the 17th centuries. A visit here is nothing less than a step back in time.
